About Mannings Liveries

Mannings Liveries is located in Edburton near Henfield in West Sussex.

It is owned and managed by Hilary Sawyer BHSII SM and has been providing it's services for over 50 years, previously being run by her mother Leone Porter.

Facilities include a covered arena, over 40 acres of grazing and excellent access to the beautiful South Downs with minimal exposure to hacking on roads.

ll the stables are traditional brick built with rubber mat floors and rehydrated soft wood bedding.

The owner lives on site and hence the yard offers 24 hour supervision for your horse or pony.

About Hilary

Hilary Sawyer has trained and competed horses for over thirty years up to National Level at Dressage. She trains with Emile Faurie and Mary-Anne Horn.

She also owns and schooled Rascher Hopes from an unbroken 3-year old to PSG level before Emile Faurie rode him at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and at the 2003 European Dressage Championships winning a team bronze.

More recently another of Hilary's horses, Dawning Hopes won European Under-21 Silver being ridden by Lara Griffith.
